I am a clinical psychologist and licensed psychotherapist, registered with the Ordine degli Psicologi dell’Emilia-Romagna (no. 2813) since 2002. My practice is devoted exclusively to couples.
In 2024 I became a Certified Gottman Therapist โ the first in Italy. I am also a Gottman Seven Principles Workshop Leader, and I completed Level 1, 2 and 3 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy with Drs. John and Julie Gottman. My further training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Charles R. Swenson, an Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship (LGBTQ+ centered), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Polyvagal Theory.
I work with international, intercultural and expat couples, with LGBTQIA+ partners and with neurodiverse partners. Sessions take place online in English or Italian, on Central European hours, or in person in Rimini, Italy.
Earlier in my career I served as a court-appointed technical advisor for the Civil Court of Rimini in parental competency evaluations, and I founded a non-profit organization developing alternatives to out-of-home placement for children of families in difficulty.
Every new couple starts with a free 30-minute introductory call. A standard couples session lasts 90 minutes.
